1.a term originating in the geriatric community that describes a sense of wanting to be left to ones own devices.
2.a term indicating that one wishes to be right regardless of situation (usually the utterer is very very very wrong about a topic).
3.a way to cut a conversation that isn’t going your way short.
nurse:hey how you feeling today mr.k.?

mr.k: oh i’m alright. i went home to see my wife last night.

nurse: um mr.k. i don’t think you could go anywhere. this long term care facility…this is your home. besides you’ve been divorced for…

mr.k: don’t make me mad!!!

nurse: okay fine you win.you went home last night.
