Dormmate
noun. a person or persons you live in the same dorm building with, not necessarily a person you share the same dorm room with.
“my dormmates are banging really loud again”
“who are they?”
“i don’t know, we’ve never met they just live above me.”
someone you live with in a college dorm or apartment. you must share living sp-ce and bathrooms with these people, and you might have never met them before — showering and dressing can be awkward.
dude #1: “is that your roommate?”
dude#2: “no, that’s my dormmate. he pees on the toilet seat all the time!”
