Drop a dog on it
on the way to an offsite work location months ago, we pulled up along side a pretty trashy car filled with pretty trash people. our coworker said,”somebody should drop a dog on that car”. meaning get the cops in and get it done. this phrase is nons-xual in nature since we use it at work to communicate on the line staff level without client or supervisor involvement.
i ask someone to drop a dog on it on something meaning they know what i’m asking them to do and they will do it. or, if they say,” dropping a dog”, they have done the thing(whatever it may be). also, if they say,” drop a double d ]” means the same thing. they took care of it.
example: if i say,”drop a dog on it” they know i mean it and it is important. it will take priority.
