earthquake weather
a period of unease preceeding a large earthquake. this is not a scientific term, although heat and humidity have been said to preceed major earthquakes.
the term can also be applied to tension between friends, possibly preceeding a fight.
“what’s with this heat, man?”

- Firing
adj. good, great, awesome, top quality. (surf slang, describes wave quality) “waves were firing today, you really missed it”.
