Eraserhead moment
when you get stuck doing something you can’t stand because of serendipitous circ-mstances, and the only thing worse than doing it would be not to do it.
after fred drifted away from all his friends in college, his mom was h-t by a car and rendered comatose. he spends most of his waking life talking to her and taking care of her. it is not clear whether she is braindead or not. when he found himself stuck in this situation, he had an eraserhead moment.
