Everything and a kite.
it means to encompas everything. because we are never satisfied with what we get, so why not throw a kite in there?
this was from ray romano’s book t-tled, “everything and a kite” (1998). he was describing what one of his twins said when ray asked him what he wanted for his birthday.
i was going to the store to buy his birthday present, and asked him what he wanted.
he looked up from his cereal and said:
“everything and a kite.” (romano129)
