a state of being ready to deal with a situation, because you are properly educated, trained and in good physical condition.
ex: #1 my friends and i are doing the tough mudder in three months so i have to get myself in fighting trim. ex: #2 getting in fighting trim has been pretty tough. i’ve had to eat clean and exercise hard to turn into a lean, mean, fighting machine.
