Findochty
a small, quaint fishing village on the north-east coast of scotland. situated a few miles east of buckie, findochty was once a bustling fishing village, housing over 50 boats in its harbour in the late 19th century. the industry then moved to the larger harbour of buckie and now the harbour houses a number of small pleasure craft. it is much photographed for its multicoloured fishing houses backing on to the small and picturesque harbour. findochty is a particularly insular village and it is often joked that you need a p-ssport to get in.
