Finisher’s Anxiety


a condition where a person has no problems working on a project and completing the majority of it, but becomes wary, lazy, or just stops altogether when close to completion.

not to be confused with procrastination.
johnny: “hey man, i saw you were pretty close to finishing your essay due tomorrow a few days ago. can i check it out?”

sam:”nah, i still haven’t finished it yet.”

johnny:”what? but you wrote most of it in like 30 minutes!”

sam: “can’t help it bro, finisher’s anxiety.”
