frarabic
an amalgam of the french and arabic languages, sometimes producing very distorted sounds. relates mainly to code-switching in mid-sentence or a single french word that has been given arabic intonation. often used in francophone arab countries such as lebanon, egypt, and morrocco.
1. “keefek, ca va?” – frarabic code-switching, literal translation: “how are you, you are you?”
2. “saboon” – frarabic for soap
