Gaou
usually an adjective but can be a noun. a slang word made popular by magic systeme in their song 1er gaou. used often by francophone west african people to call someone a loser or a nerd or someone who is used and duped very often by women in particular.
“modu, look at ibrahim with fatou, doesn’t he know she’s only after his money? poro, regarde-mois le gaou la.”
