Gardnerella
gardnerella or gardnerella v-g-n-lis is an infection in the v-g-n- caused by bacteria of the gardnerella v-g-n-lis strain, often in combination with various anaerobic bacteria. this bacterial strain, “gardnerella v-g-n-lis” is also the cause of “bacterial vaginosis” or “bv.”
a v-g-n-l infection caused by gardnerella often produces a gray or yellow discharge with a “fishy” v-g-n-l odor that increases after washing the vulvov-g-n-l area with alkaline soaps.
