general population, the area of a prison that houses the majority of inmates, whether they are hard or not.
your man better cut his wrists and get sent to the psych unit, cuz he’s way too f-cking soft for gen pop.
short for general population. generally, used to describe the area of a prison where the majority of the inmates are (i.e. those who are not in solitary confinement). also commonly used to describe the “mainstream” cl-sses of a school, i.e. those who are not in special cl-sses for challenged or gifted students.
trying to prove that his intelligence is too high to be in special ed cl-sses, he’s hoping to test into gen pop.
a derogatory term for those not in honors-level cl-sses. usually a dull bunch.
the global regents is easy enough for even the dumbest gen-pop student to p-ss! don’t worry.
a gdi (god d-mn independent). someone who is not as cool as everyone else. probably didn’t get a bid to a frat/sorority and couldn’t afford it if they did.
you are a f-cking gen pop. don’t work out at my gym.

back in play after a period away, figuratively or literally, from friends and family. the term originates from prison and is slang “general population” where prisoners live when they are not in solitary. it has been co-opted by pseudo gangsters who are really just suburban white boys
