girl space friend
a girl who is a friend but not a girlfriend (one that’s actually in a relationship) and often implied to be one.
may or not be a “friend with benefits”

a vocalization of the sp-ce between the “girl” and “friend” in order to differentiate between a “girlfriend” and a “friend-who-is-a-girl.” often used in the stead of vague, potentially romantic terms such as “lady friend” or “gal pal.”
