glemish
a blemish created by used chewing gum spat, dropped or otherwise placed onto pavement that hardens and blackens by pedestrians trampling it underfoot. a glemish is found on ground surfaces such as sidewalks and streets made of concrete, asphalt, brick, tarmacadam (tarmac), or stone. gum + blemish.
