Glittah
a term for “glitter” in a language collectively referred to as “bostonese” by fans of the new kids on the block. there are many words that can be translated into bostonese by simply dropping an “-er” suffix and replacing it with “-ah.” the origin of the word “glittah” is said to have surfaced when nkotb member jonathan knight went to hug a heavily embellished fan and then withdrew, saying “no glittah! no glittah!” for fear of getting glitter on his own clothing.
