goac
acronym for ghost on a cart. allows a ghost server to be used in a mobile fashion by placing it on a cart and moved to a computer lab when needed. this method is often used if there is an interruption in network communication between the affected cl-ssroom and the central server. this gives the operator a higher degree of flexibility over the traditional client/server architecture. the idea of a “goac” was originally used to image computers in large bodies of water near eastern russia.
