googleganger
similar to that of a doppleganger, it is another individual with the same name as you whose records and/or stories are mixed in with your own when you google yourself.
“hey, i just googled my name and found that i have three googlegangers!”
a person who shares your name– you find your googleganger by self-googling. the term comes from combining “google” with the german expression, “doppelganger.”
“i got curious and googled myself last night– and found a p-rn actress with my name! i can’t believe my googleganger is a p-rn star!”
as an internet variation of the term doppleganger. defines the act of searching your own, or someone else’s full name on google, and finding someone completely different, but sharing the same name.
“hey rob. how’s it going?”
“it’s good man, but i found my googleganger. he’s from canada and likes bondage…”
the person whose life and details are results of a google search of your own name.
