Goose Trap
goose trap (n.) when deciding which one of your friends should be the designated driver for the night, you tell them that you will be for that night, but you ask one of them to come over for a bit for some made up reason and you get drunk before he/she gets to your house. this is called a goose trap because it is a type of trapping mechanism to make someone else be the designated driver. it’s particularly called the goose trap because of the infamous gray goose vodka which is known to be a popular alcohol among teenagers.
don’t ask matt to be the designated driver because he’ll goose trap us again!
