Grammar Cop
n. one whose job it is to observe and correct the improper use of grammar.
ex. 1
grammar cop: how are you?
person 2: i’m good.
grammar cop: you mean you’re “well.”
ex. 2
student: can i go to the bathroom?
gc: i don’t know, can you?
student: may i go to the bathroom? (rolls eyes)
gc: yes, you may.
