adj: sometimes having s-xual attraction and/or feelings, but usually not. generally as-xual but perhaps capable of s-xual desire under certain conditions, eg love or romance.
noun: person who identifies as grays-xual
whereas s-xual orientation exists along a continuum of heteros-xual, bis-xual and h-m-s-xual, s-x drive also exists along a continuum. some people (highly s-xual) desire to have s-x with anyone they can; some people (strictly as-xual) have no s-xual desires; grays-xuals are predominantly as-xual but capable of manifesting s-xual desires under specific circ-mstances. this is not to be confused with an as-xual that is satisfying a partner’s s-xual desires despite lacking s-xual desire of their own.
