grew legs
for something to “grow legs and walk away”. usually at school, work, or somewhere with a lot of people. said item usually ends up having to be replaced, because it wasn’t lost, it was stolen.
man, i accidentally left my ipod in the car when we dropped it off at the dealership. i’m pretty sure it grew legs, ’cause i haven’t seen it since.
