Hearucinate
when you hear a sound that is not really there. usually caused from a lack of sleep, or in a completely quiet environment. the same as “hallucinate”, but a sound. pr-nounced “hear-oo-sin-ate”.
did you just hearucinate? i know you’ve been having trouble sleeping, but chill out, i didnt hear a thing! you better get some sleep because you are hearucinating!
