Heaven Spent
a play on the phrase heaven sent. the random person who is standing behind you , when you’re standing in line at a store and counting out your change when you realize that you don’t have enough to buy the item(s). usually 3-5 seconds after this realization is made the random person you have never met before offers the difference in order to save you from embar-ssment.
cashier: that will be $3.95.
you: 3.50…3.60…3.70…uh-oh…
random person: oh, you need a quarter? here, hon.
cashier: wow, lucky.
you: thanks, lady. you’re heaven spent…
