Honeycoon
two to three days home (“coc–n”) retreat after getting married. most common in self-employed urban couples that can’t afford and/or see no purpose in having a typical honeymoon trip but still want to take a break from their social-group-party routine in the city. involves activities like s-x, cooking, drinking good wine, etc.
couples often agree on turning off all electronic gadgets and equipments during the honeyc–n period but rarely manage to do so for more than a day.
the preceding marriage is usually a simple and quick civil ceremony.
we get married on thursday morning and already bought some good wine for our honeyc–n. not replying to any emails ’till monday!
