the hooptopotamus (hooptopotamus amphibius ganious) from the ancient greek for “gay river horse” (ιπποπόταμος), is a large, h-m-s-xual herbivorous mammal in sub-saharan africa that can fly. the hooptopotamus is one of the rarest creatures on earth and is the only flying mammal in existence. the hooptopotamus is distinguished from his cousin, the hippopotamus, by a set of fairy-like wings and his apt-tude for species of the same s-x, which has lead to his diminished populations.
