slang for the powerful opiate hydromorphone, commonly known as dilaudid. it is one of the most powerful painkillers available in the us and is known for providing a euphoric rush similar to that of heroin when administered iv. it is available in oral, rectal, and im preparations but the iv would most likely only be given in the hospital to patients in severe pain.
“hey man i just got out of the hospital for breakin my back”
“oh yeah? you doing alright now?”
