a hospital. used mostly by residents in the liverpool area. pr-nounced hozzie by most liverpudlians who use the term.
i’m just off to the hossie to visit her from next door, who’s had her appedix removed.
in video games, where the players must rescue ai(s) who’s been “kidnapped”. the hostage, or hossie, must be rescued to win the round.
“i don’t see any enemies around, lets go rescue the hossies.”
