a sarcastic phrase used when you can tell that things may not be going according to plan for the person you are speaking with.
jt: “ow! d-mn it. do we have bandages? and sterile gauze?”
meg: “what on earth are you doing?”
jt: “unloading the knives from the dishwasher.”
meg: “huh. how’s that working out for you?”
