humbucking
the process of getting over on a store or corporation by faux claiming that the store did something wrong and owes for it. the humbucker is looking for either financial gain (a refund) or a new replacement for an old item that (s)he damaged and is either out of or ineligible for warranty. the humbucker preys on the store or corporation’s fear of negative word of mouth advertising and thus cancels out any interference the ent-ty might otherwise be ent-tled to invoke.
