a male individual in one’s friend or acquaintance group who is

1.) extremely elated by the state of his life or
2.) inebriated by a chemical substance, especially thc (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol found in marijuana).

this person is usually experiencing an elevated or merry mood and tends to act in a mellow and detached manner. a hybro may often act as the life of a party and elevate the mood of the people who surround him.
my friend smoked a lot of marijuana and quickly turned into a hybro.
