officially: an offensive term that deliberately insults somebody’s level of intelligence or education.

in slang: a person who is completely ignorant, an -ss, a prik, idiot, etc.
that guy’s ignoramus. i despise him.
a person who googles the word ignoramus but only to find out it means “a ignorant lawyer”.
gretchen carlson from fox & friends is an ignoramus of such kind.
