Jambire

millittia stuhlmannii
also known as panga-panga and partridgewood, is a high density wood originary from mozambique, southern tanzania and eastern zimbabwe.

hard and heavy (> 800 kg / m3 when dried) has good resistance to bending and to shock being very durable.
difficult to work because of its hardness, when sawing it may bind to blades and burn; it tends to split, so pre-drilling is highly recommended – hss drills and tools should be used.
