(canadian slang, noun) individual eager to demonstrate knowledge or partic-p-te enthusiastically in school, church, seminars, etc. like nerd, geek, brown-noser, smartypants, etc. but with more emphasis on willingness and enthusiasm, and less on social inadequacy, sycophancy, or natural ability.
