khade chammach ki chai
hindi (national language of india) phrase used to describe an over sweetened cup of chai/tea. the sugar saturation at the bottom of the gl-ss makes the spoon stand upright; hence the expression. this phrase has been synonymous with the irani cafes in mumbai.
