learnability
a statement made by some it folk who perceives themselves to be knowledgeable enough to make up words.
usually they’re trying to describe to a ‘normal human’ the capability of a software product to enable the user to learn how to use it. most people just use a full sentence, rather than make up silly words.
learnability is intended to mean the measure of the degree to which a user interface can be learned quickly and effectively with learning time as the typical measure. just say that instead of being a muppet.
when doc-menting software specifications, learnability is an important factor for the end user.
