a type of dance sometimes called modern jive.
typically cl-sses are run independent unlike the similar franchise ceroc. a mixture between dirty dancing and rock and roll with the freedom to add other styles.
a very social atmosphere and fun way to meet new people. easy to learn, good exercise, and addictive!
also, if you’re a guy and you happen to dance in a public venue, this can make all the girls jealous that their boyfriend can’t do the same!
