a spin-off of hyphy, lowphy describes someone getting really into it and out of control while performing or dancing to lo-fi, sh-tty music. it usually happens at terrible community shows where dirty suburbanite kids gather to watch each others’ bands.
highschooler 1: yeah! hey, what the f-ck is wrong with that kid?
highschooler 2: oh him? he’s just gettin’ lowphy.
