the lucy table is the worst table in the house. it can refer to the worst table in a restaurant, but also extends to any spot you find yourself in public or in the office that sucks. it originates from the cl-ssic i love lucy show episode where lucy is seated at a table by the waiters’ door where there is high traffic.
