Mafia II

a sophisticated, open world game based in the 1930’s up to the early 50’s. this game is a first person shooter featuring vito scaletta, who used to serve in the army. when he comes back, his old pal joe pulls some strings and this turns in to vito joining the mafia. the game features vito, joe and the other mobs as they battle it out to gain power of the city of empire bay. while the game was rated a 7 (good) on ign, the game held my interest for a long enough period of time to beat the game. the game only had 25 missions (called ‘chapters’) but many of them required replays due to difficulty. overall i recommend this game to mafia fanatics.

platforms: xbox 360, playstation3 and pc
