Makin’em
short for two different phrases
1) making the moose
2) making the plays
because making the moose and making the plays can have inherently opposite meanings, makin’em is an ideal way to get get out of situations you don’t want to comment on, or a way to get a meaning around someone else by using inflection to convey the intended meaning.
other forms: make’em, made’em
guy 1: you were flirting with that girl pretty hard yesterday. did you make’em?
guy 2: oh, i was makin’em!
or
guy 2: i made’em
