Malpractitioner

1) any physician, surgeon, practioner, or doctor who prescribes a patient medication of which the side effects/withdrawl symptoms they know nothing about and/or are just playing dumb to save their license, after the patient has told them that:
a) the medication is not working
b) the medication is doing the opposite of what it is supposed to.

or:

c) if the patient has requested to be taken off and/or weaned off any medication and the physician/surgeon/practioner/doctor ups the dose, instead of taking the dose down, and/or sneakily gives the patient another drug of the same cl-ss while telling the patient that it is something completely different!

d) any physician/surgeon/practioner/doctor who completely cuts off a patient’s “narcotic” medication without weaning them off, and without researching/knowing the possible neurotoxic side effects of said prescribed medication.
situation 1:

doctor’s visit #1:

office is laden with posters which give the symptoms of depression.

patient: “i’m depressed.”

doc: “i’ll book you in with our psychologist, and start you on an s.n.r.i anti-depressant”

–patient then takes drug for a few months and ends up in hospital for several suicide attempts–

doctor’s visit #2:

patient: “i’m sure you’ve been made aware of my attempts at suicide. seems these s.n.r.i.’s are giving me adverse effects. i would like to come off of them please.”

doc: “yes, i have recieved that information. i will wean you off of them.”

doc then gives the patient the same dose as before and tops it off with another drug in about the same cl-ss s.s.r.i.’s, instead of weaning patient off medication.

situation 2:

patient is prescribed “narcotic” medication for daily function, goes to a party, gets dosed on ghb and ends up in hospital. doctor gets word of this, then cuts off all medication “(patient is a drug addict)” necessary for daily living and function. patient’s brain suffers neurotoxic withdrawl. doctor says they know nothing about “neurotoxic withdrawl.”

that’s a malpract-tioner in the works!
