McEvoy Challenge
a “mcevoy challenge” is a c-cktail consisting of one shot of whiskey and one shot of tia maria served in separate highball gl-sses and usually drunk one after the other in fast succession. the c-cktail is most commonly found in parts of south western ireland and is popular among students. the drinking of a mcevoy challenge between friends is usually accompanied by both parties exchanging kind words of friendship for approximately 3 minutes before and after consuming the c-cktail.
it would be common for two friends to go to the bar for a mcevoy challenge to celebrate after winning a badminton match together.
