the “new” ghetto high school of the region. merrillville used to be nice back when everyone from gary stayed in gary. now the only people who think it’s nice are the people from gary who have trashed it. don’t let anybody fool you. merrillville is a suburban ghetto. those who say otherwise are the problem. if you are looking for greener pastures, crown point, indiana is much nicer.
merrillville high school is the -ss crack of the suburban schools in the region.
