muddleman
a middleman who forgets a promise or an obligation to arrange a deal or event with others. not necessarily a habitual characteristic of the person, but it’s d-mned aggravating when it happens!
harry was supposed to ask nance to our party, but he forgot. next time, nance says call her ourselves, and leave the muddleman out of it.
allen ordered pizza delivered to the house, and peggy was supposed to pay, but she never showed up. the delivery wench was totally po’d. never trust a muddleman with the cash end of a deal.
