fem. of “muslim” in arabic, used for muslim women. usually used among more religious muslim women to describe each other . often connotates a “hijabi”, a woman who wears the “hijab” or muslim vail. muslimas are ussually very pious and have loads self-respect, eat halal and pray at least once a day.

a woman who believes in g-d and believes that the bible and the koran are both holy books from g-d and she believes she should be submissive to g-d’s rules in all things and at all times. she avoids prohibited acts and does good deeds and has strong faith in g-d’s goodness. she dresses modestly to avoid zina (fornication) which she knows is one of the 14 acts forbidden by g-d in both the bible and koran.
at the mosque, she goes by 1 corinthians 14:28 where it says:
“in all the congregations let the women keep silent, for it is not permitted for them to speak, but let them be in subjection, even as the law says. it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the congregation.”

let’s see if we can arrange a marriage for you with that woman. she is a muslima.
a female muslim who understands that she is a “sufaha2” (arabic for “fool”) and accepts it because islam is the religion of “submission”

she also beleives in covering herself, even in 600 degree weather so that her father or husband can sleep the night knowing she isn’t having a relationship or affair w/ another male. (because she is a fool and cannot be trusted)
christian asking a muslima : why are you all covered up?!?! aren’t you sweating?!?!

muslima: because it’s what my dad/husband told me to do. i am a fool, i dont have judgement.
