Mustang Mach 1
a special edition of the ford mustang produced in 4 different body stlyes through the years. usually marketed as a performance edition with unique engine choices and exterior trim. first available in 1969 with a 428 cobra jet motor with either a shaker ram air intake or a fixed hood scoop. this was carried over to 1970 with minor exterior changes. the mach 1 continued for 1971-1973 on the new torino based body. with the arrival of the mustang ii came the v6 equipped mach 1. the final version of the mach 1 was available in 2003-2004 with a unique 4.6l dohc motor based off of a modified, non-supercharged cobra motor.
