something said by a nanna or grandmother that is not entirely true. not a lie, but an exaggeration or an embellishment of the truth.
nanna p-sses by a famous hospital and tells the children “i was the head of child services there when i was 25.” or “i used to live at the drake hotel in chicago.” is it true? we don’t know, but it appears to be a nannerism
