Nip the tip
verb. when something brushes across the tip of the man stick, causing brief pain and/or a good facial expression after sudden surpris-m-nt from a brief touch, such as from a hand or cold water.
“man that pitcher threw close! that ball nearly nipped-the-tip!”
“when i walk into a pool with a slope downward, i hate the point where the water nips-the-tip, cause man is it cold!”
