the one dollar added to the asking price of an item to ensure purchase when multiple buyers are interetsed in a non-auction sales environment. most commonly encountered when purchasing a home and there are multiple offers expected. the first doc-mented incident of a nischbuck was on a 2012 real estate purchase in mckinney tx involving john and sherri nischbach and their realtor joe rider.
the asking price of a home is $345,900.00 the buyer offers $345,901.00 – the one dollar over asking price is the nischbuck.
